Ree's quilt Morning Light has been accepted into the 20th Biennial Contemporary Quilt Exhibition at FAVA (Firelands Association for the Visual Arts). The exhibition runs from May 11 — July 27, 2024 in Oberlin, Ohio.


About FAVA

Founded in 1979, The Firelands Association for the Visual Arts is an independent, non-profit art organization in Oberlin, Ohio dedicated to enhancing public appreciation of and participation in the visual arts through exhibitions and related educational and community activities. FAVA presents changing exhibitions of high quality artwork in a variety of styles and media.



Ree finished out a busy 2023 by being accepted as a member of Northwest Designer Craftartists.

Northwest Designer Craftartists (NWDC) was founded in 1954 to promote excellence of design and craftsmanship and to stimulate public appreciation and interest in fine craft. Artists in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska, who work professionally in clay, wood, glass, metal, fiber, and/or mixed media, are members. Other members support the crafts in the Pacific Northwest as educators, managers of non-profit arts organizations, or buyers of art for public or private collections.
